Western Australia occupies approximately one third of the continent of Australia.

It enjoys an idylic climate. It's winter months are similar to frequent European summers.

i.e. Pleasantly mild, sunny days; crisp fresh, sunny days, or heavy bursts of rain or wind - or both together.

 

The red line is the border. The shaded south-western area was mist-bound from around dawn until soon after 10.30am.

The sky above the mist was totally free of clouds, shown in the last shot with the little church.

It never remains dull for long and the coldest temperatures occur during the night, or just before dawn.
